@debtheblogger It’s about my dad and I didn’t even know it was good writing! I can’t really tell when I write something that is deeply personal even though most of what I write is deeply personal. It was really nuts. When I wrote the ending it felt good like setting him free. I have no idea what I plan on doing with it.

That’s interesting @debtheblogger I was just having a conversation with a friend of mine about her new car. She was sad that her new honda accord was so ordinary, she said “Your car has personality!” and I responded by telling her that her car didn’t need personality that her possessions were not an extension of herself and that that belief is a weird gross part of consumer culture, that she was not defined by her possessions but that’s not entirely true our possessions (or what we don’t have) can be a reflection of our values.

Having a Chanel bag was an interesting experience. I did look online to see if I could afford to buy one but of course I cannot!. Besides, I have many purses; this is really about letting go.

Get yourself a “handbag” that really works for you. I did. On Zappos. Two of ‘em. They’re canvas and granola, but they have pretty Japanese style flowers embroidered on them. They have all the pockets I like, and I can throw them in the WASHING MACHINE.

So, match the bag to your image…not the other way around.
